Gerard Butler and Hugh Jackman are in similar situations: They’re both extremely handsome and capable actors who just might’ve shoehorned themselves into typecasting hell with one iconic role. Nobody goes to see Jackman’s romantic roles because, come on… it’s Wolverine, dude. Butler, comparatively, is Leonidas and P.S. I Love You is not Sparta. But it is a sweet movie about a deceased man who helps his wife (Hilary Swank) through his death with a series of post-mortem instructions, so give it a whirl. In Stores May 6.
