Crafted Dose

Dose marks the return of the critically acclaimed Latin Playboys, a loose musical aggregate combining the many talents of Los Lobos main men David Hidalgo and Louie Perez with the renowned production duo of Mitchell Froom and Tchad Blake. The album – the Playboys’ Atlantic debut and 2nd overall – weaves the 4 members’ multi-faceted and multi-cultural influences into a complex, hypnotic sound tapestry, evidenced on such cuts as the percolating “Cuca’s Blues” and the title track.
